Abouts Dell 2330DN the printer has a exceedingly huge footprint, as its width extends to either aspect of the A4 paper route by round 100mm. It’s very angular case mirrors that of Dell’s colour 2330DN, reviewed currently, being almost an genuine squashed cube, aside from a small ledge round its top edge and a raised, triangular binnacle for its 2-line by way of sixteen-character LCD display.

A 250-sheet paper tray slides out from the lowest of the front panel and there’s a a hundred-sheet multi-reason tray on the inside of the the front cowl just above this. An elective second major tray, with a potential of 550 sheets is available as an option, however if the primary device had had a 500-sheet tray to begin with, there wouldn’t were plenty need for this – however then no person would buy the choice.

There’s no USB socket at the front panel for connecting memory drives, that is a disgrace, as that is a useful stroll-up function. What you do get is the backlit LCD show and a simple block of six buttons for navigating menus and controlling print jobs. It’s all very useful and clean to use. At the back are sockets for USB, Ethernet and parallel, for legacy structures.

Physical setup is pretty sincere, as the blended drum and toner cartridge comes pre-installed. This is particularly easy to in shape, besides, with the toner cartridge clipping into the lower back of the drum carrier. You need to be able to trade the toner at the least 5 instances earlier than the 30,000-page drum needs replacing.

Costumer Reviews From Amazon

Dell 2330DN

I've been using this printer for nearly two years, and have had zero problems. Prints almost, no jams, and the built-in duplexing works very well. Easy install, and the Dell printer software is actually useful and unobtrusive.

Feeding paper from the built-in tray works great. Single sheets from the manual tray are sometimes glitchy - occasionally the printer does not grip the paper properly. Plus, the manual tray is very flimsy feeling. Not an issue for me since 99% of the time I'm using the paper drawer. It also includes a parallel port (in addition to the usual USB). Mobile phones have to be queued around the office and require printing to a parallel port.

Prior to Dell I always bought HP lasers. While I have no complaints as to the quality and longevity of the HPs, their software seems to get more and more bloated with every release, and just gets in the way of actually using the printer. Plus, the HP toner prices have become unreasonable. The Dell has been a welcome respite from both issues.
